The third season of 6 and LadderDeliver Fresh Runewords for the Weapons. The making of weapons involves more complicated processes. Certain types of weapons are the only ones that are able to make use of runewords, while others are incompatible with them. The following list offers an explanation of the various categories, as well as a list of the weapons that are classified within each category. One of the distinctions that has the potential to lead to confusion is the one that exists between polearms and axes, as well as the distinction that exists between mace and clubs/hammers/scepters. A Heart of the Oak Runeword is nothing more than an expensive collection of runes that do not transform into a Runeword when it is placed into a club, hammer, or scepter. It does not have any other function. The only types of weapons that can house a Heart of the Oak Runeword are mace and stave types of weapons. Be careful, because some two-handed weapons with the word axe in the name are actually polearms. Some examples of this include the Poleaxe and the Lochaber Axe. This is not a mace that can be employed for the casting of runewords. Hammer is a generic term that includes War Hammer, Maul, and Great Maul.
Maul is a subcategory of Hammer
1. This is not a mace that can be employed for the casting of runewords
2. This purchase does not come with any clubs, hammers, or scepters of any kind
3. Examples of this category of weapon include large polearms wielded with two hands, such as halberds, scythes, partisans, and threshers
4. It is important to be aware that certain classes of axes, such as the Ogre Axe, the Cryptic Axe, the Lochaber Axe, and Poleaxes, are actually categorized as Polearms
5. Furthermore, these are not maces in any way
6. The sorceress is the one who most often wields the staff, which is a blunt weapon that requires two hands to use
7. Melee Weapons are any other types of weapons that are used for close combat, such as spears and daggers
8. This category includes all of these other types of melee weapons
9. The most common types of projectile weapons used by Amazons are bows, crossbows, and other types of bows
Runewords can only be inserted into items that do not have any magic sockets already present. Even if the item in question has the appropriate number of sockets, runewords cannot be used with Magic, Magic Rare, Set, or Unique gear. This is the case even if the item in question has the appropriate number of sockets. If the item in question has a socket, runewords of any quality can be inserted into it; this includes runewords of the Superior and Ethereal quality. It is not possible to put runewords of exceptional quality into equipment that has grey text. It is not possible to use runewords that are designed for weapons on armor of the same type because they will not work properly. The situation gets more difficult when a certain type of weapon is required to complete it. There are a select few runewords, such as Spirit and Phoenix, that are capable of performing the dual role of a shield and a weapon. Both kinds of runewords make use of the same runes, but the final properties that they confer are a little bit different from one another. If you try to use the three-item Runeword JahIthBer in a Chest piece that only has four sockets, for example, you will only obtain the individual properties of the component Runes (Jah, Ith, and Ber), but you will not be able to create a Runeword because of the socket number mismatch.
You will only obtain the individual properties of the component Runes (Jah, Ith, and Ber)
-
Make sure that you are in possession of the appropriate runes and that you have inserted them in the exact order that they are listed in
-
If you are, then proceed to the next step
-
For example, if you are attempting to concoct JahIthBer, you must begin by pouring in the Jah component of the concoction, then add the Ith component, and finish by adding the Ber component
-
Even if you position the final rune, Ber, in the first socket, it will continue to position itself in the first socket by default, rendering your Runeword ineffective
With the assistance of a runeword, one is able to bring the required cLvL (character level) of a piece of equipment up to a higher value. Take, for example, the case. The rune combination JahIthBer has a cLvl of 65, despite the fact that its rune with the lowest level, Ith (#6), has a level of 15. This is because the rune with the highest level, Jah (#31), also has a level of 65 as its base. Although it is extremely unlikely that you will find Runes that are significantly higher level than your character, it is possible that you could accidentally use a Runeword that is too high for your character's level, thereby rendering that item of equipment inaccessible for a period of time. This could happen even though it is extremely unlikely that you will find Runes that are significantly higher level than your character. The difficult part is figuring out which piece of gear to use and how many sockets it needs to have in order to accommodate the Runeword that you need. If you want to increase your chances of finding gear that has sockets, you should work toward having the lowest possible Magic Find score. Taking off your Magic Find gear will result in a significant increase in the number of Normal Socketed drops for your armor and weapons.
Only the Chest Armor, Helms, and Shields, along with the majority of the Weapons, can have sockets added to them. The item level, also known as iLvl and shortened to iLvl, is directly proportional to the number of sockets that an average piece of gear will have.
